I’m home. Been home for a week. Had myself a Farscape marathon. Oh this series is so one of my favourites now <3 Everything about it is gorgeous! After I finished I totally youtubed Ben Browder and Claudia Black. I love those two. Stargate SG-1 will never be the same again. Even though those two were awsome on SG-1 it would have been WAY more awsome to have a couple of more seasons of Farscape. Farscape <3

Now if you excuse me, I’m going to go and make chokladbollar.

Bye bye July

It’s been almost a month since my last post. It’s mostly because I’m back home in Sweden :P I would not expect regular posting from now on. Just when something happens or I have something random to say ;)

Not much has happened since I got home almost four weeks ago. Wow, four weeks really flies by the way. I was home a week, just spending time with family and friends. Julia had her first birthday, went swimming, experienced a major thunderstorm (we have atleast one every summer) and then I drove down to my sister’s. Been there for the past two weeks, working. Been working in the harbour and for the most part I’ve had a lovely weather which has been nice since I’ve been working outside. Other that that I’ve had car trouble, been out with the boat, been swimming, hung with friends, cooked with my sister, babysat my nephews and watched Farscape and my summer series. Feels like I’ve been up to alot in a short amount of time though.

So let me tell you why I’m blogging today… I was suppose to be out fishing with Peter (my brother-in-law) but thee boat got some kind of problem with something connected to the motor. Such a pain in the ***. Peter’s mad and I’m sad. The boat started acting weird from the start and we barely got out of the harbour before it cracked. We almost didn’t get in but in the end it started moving forward in a really slow pace. Ajhakjhskdjahskdjhakdhs :(

Disneyland

Yesterday we went to Disneyland. I was totally excited and for the first time in years (since I was like 10 and under) I decided I wanted pictures with the characters :) I got a handful of them. Sadly I missed the princesses but I’m going to see if I can’t catch them on Friday when were’re going again (we got complimentary tickets).


Princess Tiana told me I had a lovely accent (used me more British one the entire day at Dinsey) and Tinkerbell asked if I was mad :P

Disneyland started out good. We went on the ‘The Pirates of Caribbean’ ride and then through the French Quarters to ‘Splash Mountain’. At Splash they had a technical problem to we stood at the gates waiting to go into the logs that carry you around the attractions for about 20 mins. We got to see the ride without music and no people on it. Creepy! So when we finally got on I had decided to film portions of the ride. Now Splash is a water-ride. Water-ride + electronics = iffy. I was in the front and I didn’t remember that first fall inside becoming so wet. Anyway, my camera ended up being soaked and shut down for the entire ride. I managed to dry it off when we got out and it started working again, thank you thank you thank you! I got really scared there for a few moments.

Another thing happened while we were at Disney. We were at California Adventure (the second theme park) on the attraction MaliBoomer when there was a 5.4 earthquake. We didn’t feel it because we were in the air on the attraction. It was just about to go up when a bell chimed and we got hissed down. After that every single attraction in the theme parks got shut down to undergo check-ups. Took a few hours before they got up and running again. Though the light show got cancelled but since they had kept handing out FastPass tickets and dad and I had gotten one each dad headed for Guest Relations when we found out all the ‘Water of Color’ shows had been stopped. It was a LONG line. We ended up with free tickets for Friday so we can see the light show (if it’s on again). So we’re spending a whole day at Disney again tomorrow complimentary of the park. :)

Only in Hollywood, baby!

OMG I MET REALLY FAMOUS PEOPLE IN HOLLYWOOD! I was so super excited :)

Then I just enjoyed myself ;)

PS. I had a lovely time at the BBQ. It was great seeing our friends and their kids again :) Happy 4th of July. Now if you excuse me I’m gonna go and enjoy my book ;)

Last Hawaii Photos, and hello LA

It’s been a couple of days since my last entry. We went to the Big Island of Hawai’i (also named Hawai’i) and the hotel only had wi-fi in the lobby so I spent my evenings in the pool instead of blogging. Sorry guys :P
Two days ago we arrived in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA. Felt a bit like coming home. Know this part of town like the back of my hand. It was on July 1st that my vacation really started haha Our schedule has been really busy but now dad and I are enjoying some down time. Today we went shopping. Bought some DVDs and clothes for Julia. They have so much cute stuff for little girls <3 Tomorrow is 4th of July. Dad and I have plans. We're going to the Farmers Market in the morning and in the evening we’re going to a 4th of July BBQ at our friends’ house.
Then one of the days I’m dragging dad to Disneyland. Other then that, no plans. Well, if you don’t count in going to the cinema and seeing ‘Toy Story 3′, ‘Shrek Forever After’ and ‘Sex and the City 2′ ;)

on the road (today)

I’m off soon. Dad rented a car so we’re going to drive around the bay and then over the Golden Gate Bridge and over to San Mateo and maybe down to Half Moon Bay. Haven’t been there in years. Ate a big breakfast so I will be good till lunch. My friend Sara started taking pictures of her dishes last year when we were in Belgium. I’m now making use of it :)

end of the school year

This week has been busy busy. Been working a little but mostly seeing friends and spending time with my family. Tomorrow I’m going to pack my stuff that I’m bringing with me on holiday.
I’m halfway done with packing but I have a couple of stuff left – some clothes, my carry-on baggage (my cameras and laptop), toiletries, need to put some more music on my iPod. That kind of stuff :)

This evening we had Alina’s “school graduation”. She finished first grade and she sang songs together with her grade plus the second and third year students. I got to test my new camera on moving object. Have to say I prefer objects that stand still :P

something old, something new

It’s been a while since I last had a blog on my site. I’ve been working on this for a couple of days. I’m kinda content with it. I’ll keep it for the duration of my holiday. I want to blog and post photos while I’m abroad. I’m going to work a bit more on the photography page.

Now I need to drive Alina’s friend home and Alina and I are going to the stable. Alina was so mad yesterday that we couldn’t go and see Bella.
